The Marketing and communications coordinator will focus on supporting the creation and life cycle management of digital and traditional marketing assets as well as support the execution of online and offline marketing activities.
- Work closely with Vice President of Marketing and National Sales team to understand scope of projects and execute marketing activities
- Prepare content calendar, manage content collection and post updates to social media (LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and others.)
- Liaise with internal departments to gather newsworthy content to share on social media.
- Scope and organize quotations and work with marketing agencies, suppliers or contractors as required.
- Coordinate and organize shipments of marketing materials to and from suppliers, tradeshows, customer locations etc.
- Manage online profiles and association memberships/affiliations
- Proof and update all marketing materials to ensure that correct templates are used and brand identity standards are adhered to.
- Organize and standardize the process to manage images, presentation materials, meeting materials, marketing collateral materials, training and communications, so this information can easily be accessed.
- Keep track and meet material deadlines for print, and online advertising programs.
- Support financial operation of the department by collecting quotes, ensuring invoices are accurate and that vendors are paid accordingly.

As the Marketing Coordinator, you will take initiative, refine and improve processes and drive results. The individual must have:
**Required Skills**:

- Excellent written and oral communication skills including proofreading and presentation skills.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize; strong project management skills are necessary.
- Must be extremely well-organized, detail oriented and able to work independently and with little supervision.
- Good judgment, strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Great interpersonal skills; must work well with others and interact effectively with external vendors and internal clients.
- Command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) is mandatory.
- Good command of Adobe Creative Suite preferred.

**Required Experience**:

- A university degree or college diploma and 2-3 years marketing or communications experience in a similar role.
- Copyrighting and/or agency experience an asset.
- Experience with Google Analytics, AdWords, Hootsuite, SEMrush, and other online marketing tools a plus

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Vaughan, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
