We are seeking an energetic, caring, and creative **Teen Respite Companion & Mentor** to provide high-quality, engaging respite care for a bright, high-functioning teen. This is an incredible opportunity to be a positive role model while sharing activities you both love.

What You'll Be Doing:

- Offering companionship and support in a fun, relaxed environment
- Engaging in activities like LEGO building, chess matches, board games, and other recreational hobbies
- Assisting with life skills development such as cooking and cleaning
- Providing a safe, nurturing space where the teen can thrive socially and emotionally
- Helping to create enjoyable, low-pressure routines and activities to keep things light and fun

What We're Looking For:

- A compassionate, reliable individual who has a natural talent for connecting with teens
- Someone who loves LEGOs, chess, and board games
- A patient, upbeat mentor who can offer respite care in a supportive and engaging way
- Someone who can do light cleaning and cooking
- Prior experience with respite care, mentoring, or working with high-functioning teens is a must
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable to the teen’s unique needs

We will have 4 hours per day of adolescent care available week days from now until the end of August (20 hours per week), and 16 hours per week available for respite in the evenings and weekends. Our ideal hours for AC is noon until 4pm, and respite Friday evenings and flexible for the rest of the hours.

This job will continue into the school year with respite hours available and Professional development days at school will have 4 hours available as well.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 36 per week
