**Job overview**:
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Corporate Controller is a key member of the corporate management team who is involved in decisions requiring his or her expertise and skills with respect to the administrative and financial operations and reporting for the group and its subsidiaries.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Actively participate in the strategic and budget process as a member of the Management Committee
- Oversee the preparation of the subsidiary’s financial statements and preparation of the consolidated financial statements for the group in accordance with local regulations and ASPE
- Preparation of MD&A management reports, monitoring of key financial indicators and providing performance explanations
- Collaborate with managements to support them in their needs of financial information
- Responsible for the optimisation automation of the administrative, accounting and finance process by proposing and implementing various innovative solutions for all entities of the Group
- Collaborate with subsidiaries and other services on continuous improvements and value creation projects
- Participate in the development of new management reports and KPIs
- Actively participate in the integration of new business units
- Responsible for the treasury operations for the Group and support the CFO for the cash management and banking relations
- Review and implement best collection practices for the accounting and administration services
- Plan, coordinate and supervise the annual audit process and optimization of annual tax returns in collaboration with the subsidiaries accounting team and local audit firms
- Responsible for compliance with various tax authorities (tax and sales tax) of group entities
- Responsible to maintain transfer price best practice in compliance with international rules for all Tornatech’s entities
- Lead and support the administrative and accounting team and ensure their proper professional development
**PROFILE**:
- Professional Accounting Designation, CPA, CA
- Minimum 10 years of experience including 5 years in a similar role
- Strong experience in consolidation according to ASPE or IFRS and in multicurrency
- Ability to organize and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
- Rigorous, proactive, have a good sense of judgment and an analytical mindset
- Collaborative leadership and communication skills
- Experience in implementing an ERP, knowledge of SAGE 300/INTACCT an asset
- Experience in manufacturing an asset
- Very good knowledge of the Office suite
- Be able to communicate orally and in writing with people in Belgium, Dubai, the United States and Singapore
