**_Veterinary Purchasing Co. Ltd. (VP) _**_located in St. Marys, Ontario, is the largest Veterinary Supplier in Ontario and is currently looking to add dynamic individuals within our Warehouse for the position of:_

**Student Warehouse Worker**
- Student Warehouse Workers are responsible for performing various warehouse duties associated with the proper picking, checking, and packing of product orders; ensuring that clinics receive their product in good condition and in a timely manner._

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Pick and verify product orders to ensure accuracy
- Pack orders to ensure product is not damaged during transport and that all shipping labels are applied, as required
- Maintain warehouse to ensure that the proper amount of product is available and that shelves are neat and free of excess packaging material and debris
- Complete daily warehouse preparation jobs, as assigned
- Understand and follow all applicable Standard Operating Procedures as required.
- Other duties as assigned

**Note**: This position requires employees to walk/stand for the entirety of their shift, and lift up to 50lbs, as needed.

**Health & Safety**
- Works in compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act
- Conducts self with regard for safety of employees; is aware of safety and evacuation procedures
- Report any health & safety violations or hazards to your Supervisor

**Good Manufacturing Practices**:

- Follow and understand all relevant Standard Operating Procedures with respect to Good Manufacturing Practices

**Skills and knowledge required**:

- Must be a minimum of 15 years of age
- Strong written & verbal communication
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

**Schedule**:2-week rotation (Sunday to Thursday or Monday to Friday)**Accommodation requests accepted for extra curricular activities during school year (with advance notice).
