**Veterinary Purchasing Co. Ltd (VP)** **located in St. Marys, Ontario, the largest Veterinary Warehousing & Distribution operation in Ontario, is currently looking to add dedicated, hardworking individuals to our warehouse team for the **full-time** position of:
**WAREHOUSE WORKER**

Under the general direction of the Warehouse Supervisor and Zone Coordinators, the Warehouse Worker is responsible for performing various warehouse duties associated with the proper picking, checking, and packing of product orders; ensuring that clinics receive their product in good condition and in a timely manner. The Warehouse Worker also plays a vital role helping to maintain a clean, well ordered, and safe working environment.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Pick and check product orders to ensure accuracy
- Pack orders to ensure product is not damaged during transport and that all shipping labels are applied, as required
- Maintain aisles to ensure that the proper amount of product is available and that shelves are neat and free of excess packaging material and debris
- Complete morning jobs, as assigned
- Understand and follow all applicable Standard Operating Procedures as required.
- Other duties as assigned

**Note**: This position requires employees to walk/stand for the entirety of their shift, and lift up to 50lbs, as needed.

**Health & Safety**:

- Works in compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act
- Conducts self with regard for safety of employees; is aware of safety and evacuation procedures
- Report any health & safety violations or hazards to a Supervisor, Zone Coordinator, or Manager

**Good Manufacturing Practices**:

- Follow and understand all relevant Standard Operating Procedures with respect to Good Manufacturing
Practices (GMP).

**Skills and Knowledge Required**:

- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Strong written & verbal communication
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

**Schedule**:
Operational days are Sunday-Friday. We are currently operating on a two-week rotating schedule:

- **Sunday-Thursday** - Sunday: 8:00am-4:00pm (or End of Day); Monday-Thursday: 12:00pm-8:00pm (or End of Day)
- **Monday-Friday** - Monday and Thursday: 9:30am-6:00pm, Tuesday and Wednesday: 9:30am-5:30pm, Friday 9:30am-5:30pm (or End of Day
- **Monday-Friday** - Monday and Thursday: 6:00am-3:00pm, Tuesday and Wednesday: 6:00am-2:00pm, Friday 8:00am-2:00pm
