**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Food Preparation Worker to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of meals and ensuring that all food safety and hygiene standards are met. This position is ideal for individuals who have a passion for the food industry and enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

**Duties**
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients for meals, including washing, chopping, and measuring food items.
- Follow recipes and instructions from cooks or chefs to ensure consistency in meal preparation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations, utensils, and equipment.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure safe food handling practices.
- Help with inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting shortages as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal service during busy periods.
- Support cooks in various tasks as required, contributing to overall kitchen efficiency.

**Skills**
- Experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A passion for meal preparation and an eagerness to learn about cooking techniques within the restaurant setting.
