**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Develop and implement age-appropriate planning based on children's interest that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster a supportive learning environment.
- Manage classroom activities and maintain a safe, clean, and organized space for children.
- Observe and assess children's progress to tailor educational approaches that meet individual needs.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance the curriculum and share best practices.
- Support children with disabilities by adapting teaching methods to accommodate their needs.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with early childhood education trends.
- Drive daycare van to drop off/ pick up children from neighboring schools.

**Experience**
- Previous experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting is essential.
- Strong time management skills to effectively balance multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with computer operation for administrative tasks such as record keeping and lesson planning.
- A genuine passion for educating young minds and fostering their development is crucial.
- Must possess minimum Alberta class 5 drivers' licence and must be willing to drive the daycare van in mandatory.
- Must have successfully completed ECE level 2 or 3.
- Willingness to obtain criminal record check and first aid.
- Completion of FLIGHT program is an asset.

Pay: $22.00-$28.56 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Additional pay:
