Vault is a non-bank private mortgage lending company. We have a progressive, friendly work environment and a culture of growth. We are looking for a hard-working **Mortgage Officer** to join our dynamic team.

You will be responsible for the mortgage post-funding administrative processes. We are looking for somebody who is looking to learn and is highly detail oriented. You will be working in a fun, fast-paced professional environment where being detail-oriented with solid time management skills is critical.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Responsible for establishing and maintaining a professional relationship with borrowers and/or brokers whose mortgages are approaching maturity
- Manage loan sales to multiple facilities by ensuring loan files are complete, required facilities forms and reports accurate and, ensuring communication to all parties within agreed timelines.
- Manage property insurance updates, amendments and cancellations
- Assist with the management of existing portfolio including, post-funding documents and discharges
- Scheduling and coordinating construction inspections and preparing construction advance documents
- Support the borrower through their mortgage inquiries by identifying customer needs and providing appropriate options and solutions
- Process various updates to the mortgage account such as borrower contact information and requested account changes
- A commitment to providing outstanding personalized service
- Additional duties as assigned.

**Skills Knowledge & Experience**
- Strong documentation skills and ability to manage large volumes of documentation.
- Strong communication skills (professional, polished, clear verbal and written communication skills).
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a changing and agile environment with constant moving targets.
- Strong organizational, time management and project coordination skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize high volume workload and meet strict deadlines for tasks/assignments.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment where flexibility, keeping others informed and anticipating needs are essential.
- Demonstrated sound judgment, ability to deal with confidential and sensitive issues.
