Project Manager

**Position Overview**: *
We are looking for a Project Manager to join our growing team. Reporting to the Director, Program & Portfolio Management, the Project Manager will be responsible for managing key cross-functional projects and their underlying activities. This role will oversee the coordination and administration of all aspects of any ongoing projects including planning, organizing, staffing, leading, and controlling program activities. This role supports projects cross-functionally across the organization and the successful incumbent will have an opportunity to drive operational impact for the organization.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Plan, coordinate and implement all phases of assigned projects of varying complexity, organizational visibility, and high value, while ensuring reliability, quality, and delivery time meets or exceeds customer expectations
- Work with the Executive sponsor and Business owner to develop a project charter and scope document
- Coordinate across all departments and disciplines to ensure timely and quality product and service deliverables to the project
- Develop comprehensive communication plans and oversee the transition to Operations Support teams to ensure seamless deployment
- Monitor project status on a daily basis. Identify and escalate risk and issues as appropriate
- Post-secondary education in a related field
- Minimum 3 years’ project management experience in a customer focused environment
- Proven experience in managing Project Coordinators, assigning accountability and responsibility to project administrative tasks
- A strong customer service orientation with excellent relationship-building skills and demonstrated experience working within cross
- functional teams and/or Projects, including Project administration
- Demonstrated advanced written communication skills with the ability to position communication to align with business goals and corporate messaging
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal communication skills and a demonstrated ability to communicate and interact with all levels of the organization
- Strong time management skills with an attention to details and strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize is required. Demonstrates a comfort working within a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to multitask and to shift smoothly between and amongst many different Projects and initiatives, and ability to handle multiple assignments with tight deadlines
- Data management and systems testing experience is an asset
- Telecom industry knowledge an asset
- A strong working knowledge of MS Office (in particular MS Project, Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint) and advanced skill in flowcharts
