Sirius Controls is a progressive and rapidly growing company that is well positioned in the manufacturing industry. We are looking to add a self-motivated and capable member to join our Production team.

We have an immediate full-time opening for an Electrical Assembler in our Edmonton facility. The Electrical Assembler is part of our production team and is responsible for assembling various electrical components of a systems.

**Specific Responsibilities**:

- Read and follow process documentation, blueprints, Bills of Material and quality control specifications.
- Assembling electrical and mechanical components.
- Assemble batteries, attaching hardware, switches, or other parts
- Route or connect wires between components, connectors and terminals.
- Install, mount, fasten, align and adjust parts and components to subassemblies and assemblies.
- Inspect electrical components and assemblies to ensure adherence to specified requirements, labeling and packaging.
- Perform testing and inspection of electrical parts and products as required.
- Complete all production and quality control documentation.
- Package equipment for shipping and assist in receiving of product to the facility.
- Use hand tools, power tools, or precision instruments to test equipment.
- Any other responsibility assigned by Management.
- Follow ISO 9000 standards, 5S and LEAN manufacturing Standards.
- Make recommendations concerning the development, documentation, workflow, and performance of production and quality control processes consistent with continuous improvement.
- Maintain cleanliness in work area and adhere to occupational health and safety standards

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma in electrical is an asset
- Strong work ethic, high degree of enthusiasm.
- 2 - 4 year’s previous experience as an electrical wiring.
- Knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting and handling procedures.
- Experience in assembling components.
- Able to read, interpret and follow procedures for mechanical/electrical design drawings
- Computer skills: Proficient with MS Word, Excel.

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
