PSYCHOLOGIST, ONTARIO STRUCTURED PSYCHOTHERAPY PROGRAM (FORMALLY COGNITIVE BEHAVIOURAL THERAPY PROJECT)
**JOB DESCRIPTION**
This role involves active participation in committee work and requires the psychologist to act as informal clinical lead, providing feedback and recommendations to an evolving training and clinical consultation framework being developed by the province. The psychologist will also deliver CBT to individuals and groups at a designated community location.
**Requirements**:
- Experience providing, teaching and supervising evidence-based therapies, in particular CBT.
- Expertise in developing assessment protocols to clarify diagnosis and contribute to evidence-based clinical management and assessment of patients with a serious mental illness and/or personality disorder is important.
- Experience with program evaluation is required.
- A demonstrated interest and aptitude for academic activities, including teaching graduate students and the ability to conduct independent research relevant to the Outpatient Program are definite assets.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment, are essential.
