**ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION**
**Who is the Digital Communications & Design Officer?**
The Digital Communications & Design Officer plays a critical role in advancing Cooperation Canada’s communications and marketing efforts, reporting to the Communications Manager and collaborating across the team. The position focuses on enhancing the organization’s external presence through graphic design, website management, and the implementation of communications priorities, ensuring quality, consistency, and accessibility across platforms. Responsibilities include leading the development and ongoing management of a new website, creating visually compelling assets aligned with Cooperation Canada’s brand and mission and providing administrative support to streamline communications processes. The Officer integrates anti-racism, equity, diversity, inclusion and justice (AEDIJ) principles into all aspects of their work, including content creation, visual design and team collaboration, ensuring that the organization’s values are reflected in its external communications.
- At least three years of relevant experience, matched with a college diploma in communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field, or equivalent experience in the industry.
- Demonstrated experience with back-end website management platforms with proficiency in design software.
- Experience in website implementation projects and data management best practices.
- Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to anti-racism, equity, diversity, inclusion and justice.
- Functionally bilingual in English and French.
- Capacity to work in person downtown Ottawa on Mondays and Tuesdays.

**Qui est l’agent-e des communications numériques et du design ?**
L'agent-e des communications numériques et du design joue un rôle essentiel dans l'avancement des efforts de communication et de marketing de Coopération Canada. Il/Elle relève du gestionnaire des communications et collabore avec l'ensemble de l'équipe. Le poste est axé sur l'amélioration de la présence externe de l'organisation par le biais de la conception graphique, de la gestion du site Web et de la mise en œuvre des priorités de communication, en veillant à la qualité, à la cohérence et à l'accessibilité sur toutes les plates-formes. Les responsabilités comprennent la direction du développement et de la gestion continue d'un nouveau site Web, la création d'actifs visuellement attrayants alignés sur la marque et la mission de Coopération Canada et la fourniture d'un soutien administratif pour rationaliser les processus de communication. L'agent-e intègre les principes d'antiracisme, d'équité, de diversité, d'inclusion et de justice (AEDIJ) dans tous les aspects de son travail, y compris la création de contenu, la conception visuelle et la collaboration d'équipe, en veillant à ce que les valeurs de l'organisation soient reflétées dans ses communications externes.
- Au moins trois ans d'expérience pertinente, assortie d'un diplôme d'études supérieures en communication, marketing, journalisme ou dans un domaine connexe. Expérience avérée des plates-formes de gestion de sites web de type back-end, avec maîtrise des logiciels de conception.
- Expérience des projets de mise en œuvre de sites web et des meilleures pratiques en matière de gestion des données.
- Solides compétences interpersonnelles et engagement en faveur de la lutte contre le racisme, de l'équité, de la diversité, de l'inclusion et de la justice.
- Fonctionnellement bilingue en anglais et en français.
- Capacité de travailler au centre-ville d'Ottawa les lundis et mardis.
