Aspire for Higher (A4H) is a grassroots non-profit organization that uses sports to engage, empower, and educate youth and young people from all communities and backgrounds.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute social media strategies to increase A4H Sport's following and engagement on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
- Create compelling and visually appealing content, including graphics, videos, and infographics, that aligns with A4H's mission and values.
- Manage the A4H social media calendar, including scheduling and posting regular updates, responding to comments and messages, and monitoring analytics.
- Collaborate with the A4H Sports team to create engaging campaigns and initiatives that promote sports programming, advanced training, mentorship and wellness among young audiences.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth and engagement on A4H’s social media platforms.
- Engage with the A4H community on social media and build relationships with influencers and thought leaders to increase awareness of A4H Sports and our mission and activities.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree or pursuing studies in communications, marketing, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience managing social media platforms for a brand or organization.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail and a knack for storytelling.
- Proficiency in social media management tools, such as Hootsuite or Sprout Social, as well as graphic design tools, such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience in youth sports or a strong interest in basketball, wellness and youth mentorship
- Knowledge of social media analytics and metrics, with the ability to analyze data and use insights to inform social media strategy.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 8 - 16 weeks

**Salary**: $20.00 per hour
