**JOB DESCRIPTION**
**Duties**:
- Manages a team of four MoveUP employees responsible for compliance, quality assurance,
inventory and meter records of Revenue Metering assets. This includes a fleet of approx. 2M
smart meters, 1,000 complex meters as well as thousands of instrument transformers across the
province. Assets totalling close to $350M in value.
- Responsible for developing, maintaining and executing on yearly and long-term compliance
program plans and budgets. Budgets for these programs are approx. $3M over the next five years.
- Communicates Compliance Program plans to stakeholder groups for execution. Coordinates,
monitors and tracks status and completion of program objectives. Reviews implementation plans
from key stakeholders. Follows-up on deliverables with key stakeholders. Implements ongoing
process improvement for the Compliance Program.
- Creates and communicates annual priority workplan for meter shop and field metering
resources. Provides updated multiyear program work plan estimates for resource planning.
Coordinating and supporting work for sample programs in Meter Shop, Customer Metering and
Field Metering.
- Leads and manages relationship, communication, negotiations and required reporting to
Measurement Canada for compliance and accreditation.
- Leads, influences, and oversees, implementation of quality assurance procedures for
continuous improvement and sustainment of quality management system in accordance with ISO
and Measurement Canada Accreditation regulation for electric meters and related equipment.
- Manages meter records employees ensuring meter records accuracy and necessary systems
enhancements for meter records accuracy.
- Leads inventory management of all Revenue Metering equipment to ensure mínimal risk and
maximum asset value related to required assets. Coordinates and works closely with demand
planning, category management, contract management stores, Revenue Metering engineers and
metering equipment vendors.
- Analyzes, creates and recommends business cases to support meter and metering equipment
refurbishment and write offs, analyzing costs and impacts to lifecycle. Implements approved plans
with key stakeholders.
- Accountable for driving and supporting IT projects and required to support new SAP tools for
metering databases and compliance program deliverables. Identifies and implements these
across stakeholder groups.
- Provides guidance and coaching to MoveUP staff and is responsible for performance
development, resourcing, time and labour approvals, etc.

- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or other relevant discipline
- A minimum of 4 years experience working in a utility environment
- A minimum of 4 years of technical background that includes the following preferred knowledge
areas: electrical engineering, metering, quality assurance- Preferred business operations and transformation experience, leading teams in evaluating
organizational issues and facilitating improvement in business performance process- Previous team leadership experience is preferred
- Knowledge of Measurement Canada standards with respect to metering procedures and
familiarity with SAP will be considered assets- An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
