Avalon is currently hiring dynamic and energetic Level 2 Adult Support Workers to work with developmentally delayed male and female adults who require support and supervision in Eramosa Township, 15 minutes outside of Guelph. **Level 2 staff members typically work with more challenging clients and may be required to physically intervene to prevent harm from coming to the client or others.**

We are hiring relief / part time staff currently, with the potential to move to full-time in the near future Shifts can include days, evenings, and weekends. A vehicle is required.

A degree or diploma in the Social Services or PSW diploma is preferred, however, university or college students in a related field with relevant experience are encouraged to apply The starting rate of pay for this role is $24 per hour, plus a $3 per hour wage enhancement funded by the Ontario government.
