Vice President of Sales

Principal responsibilities of the Vice President of Sales include but are not limited to:

- The individual must have a solid understanding of the metal fabrication industry and bring an extensive list of current customer relationships.
- Design and execute full marketing plan for the following sectors:
Engineered Products (boilers, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, pressure parts)
Military
Steel Making Equipment
Marine Work
Rail Car Maintenance/Component Build
Servicing the Weld Gas Companies Linde, Messer, Air Liquide.
Hydrogen Gas/Liquid Vessels
LNG
Chemicals Industry
Energy Industry
Mining Industry
Portable Housing
- Generate sales reports each week and submit them to management.
- Update client information in the company contact database.
- Stay on top of industry trends to identify potential opportunities for company growth.
- Develop new prospects and interact with existing customers to increase sales.
- Maintain existing key customer relationships ensuring a continued base of profitable industrial business.
- Have the ability to estimate/quote customer projects.
- Respond to customer information requests; collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure a timely and accurate response.
- Create advertisements for various applicable trade journals.
- Design all trade show marketing materials.
- Manage website development.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Sales and Marketing or Engineering.
- Demonstrated ability in meeting sales objectives.
- Impeccable interpersonal communication skills.
- Thorough understanding of the metal fabrication industry and industry trends.
- Familiarity with marketing strategies and consumer psychology.
- Strong analytical skills to identify trends and sales patterns.
- Proficiency with the word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software.
- Ability and willingness to travel for trade shows, demonstrations and client meetings.

Required experience:

- 5+ years’ experience in the steel fabricating industry
