- Multi-functional role that includes but not limited to the assembly, staging, testing, and packaging Virtek projector systems.
- Responsibilities section:

- Functions of the Manufacturing Technician - Systems will include, but not be limited to:

- Executing system staging, system quality assurance and system packaging.
- Spare part and warranty replacement management.
- Continuous improvement and corrective action activities for the production team.
- Complete all checklists/records/reports as required for traceability
- Report and maintain Quality Audit checklists and System checklists
- Assist in shop-floor job management/reporting using the ERP system
- Requirements section:

- Grade 12 minimum, preferred diploma in Electronics / Electro Mechanical / Optics technology.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Ability to interpret assembly procedures, wiring diagrams and drawings.
- Ability to document and record test results, and report daily labor and material consumptions.
- Demonstrated ability to use tools, fixtures, and test equipment.
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems and setup of computers and peripheral devices.
- Ability to lift 40 lbs occasionally, to shoulder height.
- Safety conscious.
- Excellent interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills.
- Self-motivated, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
