Recovery Desk Administrator

**Summary**
You perform a variety of standard duties to maximize recovery from other insurers. You work independently but provide regular feedback to ensure processes run smoothly.
*After the 6 month (approx) training period, this role can be performed up to 3 days/week remotely from home.
**Responsibilities**
- Perform a variety of administrative duties in an accurate and timely fashion within established standards, guidelines, and time deadlines including:
- Submit necessary Coordination of Benefits (COB) or ‘Subrogation’ documents to other insurers
- Enter payment details from cheques received from other insurers and ensure accuracy. Respond to any correspondence related to recovery submissions. Follow-up with Extended Health Plans (COB) when no response has been received. Contact Government Health Insurance Plans (GHIP) in cases of overturned denials to ensure payment sent to TuGo.
- Communicate regularly with the Cost Management Supervisor for status updates.
- Provide feedback for process improvements.
- Contact travellers for missing information needed for recoveries.
- Issue payments to travellers for GHIP overpayments
- Achieve performance targets.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members and all other teams.
- Responsively and effectively handle issues.
- Look for ways to improve customer experience.
- Promote and model TuGo culture, values, and brand promise.
- Continuously build professional and technical expertise.
- Other duties as required.
**Requirements**:
- Diploma in business administration or related discipline
- 2+ years of administrative experience, including word-processing
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong ability to multi-task
- Experience processing bills and understanding GHIP requirements is an asset
- Excellent written and verbal English skills
- Strong team player and positive contributor
- Well-developed analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $42,000.00-$48,000.00 per year
