**About the Job**:
The Manager of Finance will bring strategic, high-level support to the Executive Director, Internal Systems and Audit, by overseeing the financial management of the property portfolio, ensuring long-term growth and financial stability. This role includes budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis for individual properties and the entire portfolio. The Manager of Finance will work closely with property managers and senior leadership to optimize cash flow, manage capital expenditures, and ensure compliance with financial regulations. Key responsibilities also include advising on investment strategies, leading the finance team, and ensuring efficient financial systems and processes are in place. The Manager will monitor expenses, prepare financial reports for stakeholders, and foster strong relationships with auditors, lenders, and regulatory bodies.

You have a bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field, and a minimum of five years’ experience in accounting and/or financial analysis, preferably in property management. You are a detail oriented with hands on Payroll & Benefits experience as well as experience coaching and supervising payroll and benefit staff.
**Additional Requisites/Assets**:

- CPA designation required.
- Prior experience with Yardi or Sage 300 is a must.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Ability to listen attentively and actively. Ability to ask questions and share information and ideas with others.
- Proven experience managing a team.
- Strong coaching and mentorship skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to adjust and work with different people.
- Prior experience in preparing monthly financial statements is a must
- Experience with UKG HRIS & Sage is an asset
- Covid-19 & Annual Flu Vaccination are recommended
