**Responsibilities**:
OVERALL PURPOSE:
Provides senior level maintenance planning expertise to develop long term and short-term maintenance plans and ensure the maintenance activities are planned and implemented efficiently according to industrial regulations/standards and BRCTC maintenance strategies, policies, procedures. Partners with maintenance managers to ensure the highest standards of safety, efficiency, productivity, asset reliability and cost effectiveness.

**Qualifications**:
EDUCATION:
Requires an undergraduate Degree in Engineering, Planning, or a related discipline.

EXPERIENCE:
Requires four (4) years progressively responsible experience working within a planning, scheduling and preventive maintenance environment including implementing continuous process improvements and work standards, preferably in rail and transit systems maintenance.

**Other Information**:
Recruitment Process: An applicant will be required to demonstrate their suitability for this position by meeting the minimum level of qualifications and experience in order to be invited into the selection process. A standard interview format will be used including general, scenario and behavioural descriptive interview questions.

Once in the process, testing will be used to confirm this suitability and all external applicants will be required to obtain a pass mark of 70% on each component of the testing to demonstrate a minimum level of proficiency in the position.

This position is Resident, with 5 days in office.

**Rate of Pay**:
Wage: $53.69 per hour
