**Overview**
The Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of guests during the night hours, as well as maintaining the physical integrity of the hotel property.
**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Conducting routine maintenance tasks to uphold the hotel's standards of quality and safety, ensuring they are consistently met.
- Addressing minor maintenance needs like replacing ceiling tiles, filters, and light bulbs, repairing vinyl, painting, and fixing various fixtures such as pipelines, toilets, sinks, kitchen, and laundry equipment.
- Regularly inspecting and optimizing the performance of equipment and electrical systems such as air conditioning controls, entrance/access doors, TVs, and lighting, making necessary minor repairs or replacements to maintain functionality and efficiency.
- Ensuring the exterior of the property, including grounds, pool area, and sports facilities, remains safe and clean, which includes maintaining signage and lighting.
- Fostering teamwork and excellent service by communicating and coordinating with other departments daily.
- Maintain the hotel's pool by performing cleaning tasks, adjusting chemical levels, and cleaning filters. Complete necessary maintenance request forms and maintain detailed logs as mandated by both company policies and local health and safety regulations.
- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
**Job Requirements**
- 1 year or more of general building maintenance and repair background. Preferably, possess a high school diploma or relevant vocational training.
- Capacity to effectively prioritize tasks and manage time.
- Aptitude for problem-solving to tackle maintenance challenges.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations
- Exposure to extreme temperatures. Must have physical dexterity and stamina.
Pay: $17.20 per hour
