**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, preferably Micros POS.
- Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and recommendations to enhance the dining experience through effective upselling techniques.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including tables, utensils, and serving stations.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Assist in food preparation as needed and support kitchen operations during peak hours.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality by creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.

**Qualifications**
- Previous restaurant experience is preferred, with a solid understanding of food service operations.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
- Strong time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks in a busy environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Basic math skills for processing transactions and handling cash accurately.
- Experience with POS systems is highly desirable; familiarity with Micros POS is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices within the kitchen and dining areas is important.
