**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and measuring spices.
- Cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

**Skills**
- Proficient in meal preparation techniques with a strong understanding of cooking methods.
- Knowledgeable in food handling practices and food safety regulations within the restaurant industry.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
- Experience in the food service or food industry is preferred but not required.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new cooking techniques and menu items as needed.

Pay: $18.00-$21.83 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
