Linux Infrastructure Administrator - Permanent position in Burnaby: On behalf of our client based in Burnaby, Ignite Technical Resources is seeking an experienced **Linux Infrastructure Administrator** to join our client’s **IT** team on a **permanent** basis. **Role Description**: Our establish client is looking for a Linux Infrastructure Administrator/Engineer to join their IT team. This team is in charge of Linux centric infrastructure management and does user support a chunk of their day plus "rip & replace" activities transitioning legacy systems to modern ones. As the Linux Infrastructure Administrator/Engineer would be using your advanced Linux network, storage, and virtualization skillset to assist in these aims. **Requirements**: - 5 or more years of experience with Linux network, storage, and virtualization - 5 or more years of experience with end user support - Demonstrated experience with most of the following tech stack: - Exp w/ infrastructure tech stack:_ - oVirt Virtualization Management in a high availability cluster with GlusterFS - Advanced Linux storage and RAID administration and troubleshooting with mdadm and LVM - KVM Hypervisor - FreeIPA - LDAP, Certificate Authorities, etc. - Foreman / Puppet - Corporate IP services (DHCP, DNS, LDAP, Certificates, etc.) - Adv Linux Networking tech stack:_ - VLANs, Subnetting - Firewall - Linux firewalls running ShoreWall - StrongsWAN IPSec tunnels - OpenVPN - Proxy Servers - Linux Flavors include: CentOS, RHEL, OEL, and Ubuntu **Nice-to-have**: - Demonstrated experience with most of the following tech stack: - Cisco and HPE Switch Management - Oracle Cloud Infrastructure admin exp - MySQL / MariaDB DBA Management including replication, high availability - Office365 / Azure AD Basic Admin - Demonstrated experience working collaboratively and proactively - Masters of Engineering degree, specializing in large scale Communication Systems, would be considered an asset - Based in Vancouver and proudly Canadian, Ignite Technical Resources has been providing Top Technical Talent to organizations across Canada since 2005._ **Ignite.
