We have an immediate opening for an Electrical Technician Assistant

The Electrical Technician Assistant, while under the supervision and direction of the Senior Electrical Engineer, they will assist in preparing for the new projects; material lists, specifications, standards, policies, work methods, test procedures and drawings. Assist in conducting evaluations, tests, and draws conclusions. Help conduct investigations into electrical, signaling or tracking problems.

**Key Job Functions**:
Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and required materials.

Assist with the assembly, construction, wiring, inspection, testing and commissioning of new, existing electrical systems as required.

Required Skills;
Post secondary college diploma or university degree in related discipline or combination of education and experience.

Good knowledge of electrical design principles, methods, procedures, practices and measurements.

Experience in producing metal enclosures, electrical distribution panels, and general electrical wiring an asset.

Knowledge of mathematics, procedures, and basic knowledge of standard/code regulations.

Effective verbal communication. Must speak and write fluent english.

**Required Skills and knowledge**

Must have hands on electrical wiring experience

Minimum 1 year hands on Electrical wiring

Strong skills in reading and interpreting electrical schematics

Familiar with electrical distribution equipment from various manufacturers, (Siemens, Schneider, Eaton etc.)

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Problem Solving

Expected hours: 40 per week
