CareCorp Seniors Services, a trusted long-term care and assisted living contractor, is currently hiring a Food Service Supervisor for one of our service delivery sites.
This is a permanent full-time position and offers a competitive salary and benefits.

**Position details**:Permanent Full-Time; Monday - Friday (0800-1630)

**Position Summary**
The Support Services Supervisor will coordinate and supervise the day-to-day operations of all dietary, laundry and housekeeping services and ensure that all operations remain aligned with the highest levels of quality, cleanliness and professional standards.

**Responsibilities**
- Places purchase orders in accordance with approved menus and prescribes ordering schedule.
- Receives and stocks deliveries, reviews shipping slips and invoices to ensure all ordered items are accounted for.
- Conducts meal rounds.
- Prepares, prints and distributes the menus on a weekly basis.
- Ensures that all changes in residents are updated.
- Attends resident council meetings when required.
- Provides direct supervision of all dietary staff.
- Provides feedback to the Regional Support Services Manager on staff performance matters.
- Provides coaching and support to all dietary staff.
- Checks fridges, stores and equipment on a weekly basis.
- Other tasks as assigned.

**Qualifications**
- Completion of a recognized culinary training program or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Five (5) or more years' experience working in a food services environment, preferably at the level of chef/ lead cook.
- Two (2) years' experience in a supervisory role.
- Cultural education and experience are preferred
