**Summary**:
Reporting to the I.T. Operations Supervisor and as a member of the Information Technology team, the Desktop Support Technician will provide support for end-users and perform maintenance within the organization's desktop computing environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide end-user support to the corporate office, call centre, and retail locations across Canada through on-site and remote support. Interprovincial travel will be required to support retail locations.
- Utilize helpdesk ticketing software to manage and prioritize issues and service requests ensuring a timely resolution.
- Install, configure, test, and troubleshoot desktop hardware and software, network hardware, phones, wireless devices, printers, scanners, presentation equipment, software, and other products to deliver required desktop service levels.
- Install, set up, test, and troubleshoot POS hardware and software at retail locations, ensuring computer systems, touchscreen monitors, receipt printers, flatbed scanners, hand scanners, pin pads, and cash trays are fully operational.
- Investigate and resolve reoccurring issues, determining root causes, toward a permanent solution.
- Manage Active Directory and SAP user accounts, including creation, access changes, and password resets.
- Responding to IT management and retail management requests and questions.
- Liaise with third-party support and PC equipment vendors.
- Document depot processes and procedures for common problems and assist with resolution time reduction by contributing articles to the knowledge base.
- Receive, inventory, and ship all production and project-related equipment to ensure deadlines are met.
- Assist with monitoring and maintaining equipment stock levels.
- Implement and support changes to desktop infrastructure to maintain/upgrade the environment in support of business requirements.

**Qualifications**:

- 2 to 4+ years of experience in IT/desktop support-related field
- Certifications in A+, MCP preferable
- PC hardware/software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, basic network security, Windows 7, windows10 and Cisco
- MAC support experiences are an asset
- Excellent customer service, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to clearly document current and ongoing processes
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated
- Ability to provide on-call support as needed
- This position requires the ability to travel several times a year and occasionally work evenings and weekends

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $41,524.79-$68,472.68 per year
