Location: Toronto Hybrid
The Manager, Finance (Sales Commission and Analysis) is accountable for administering all Sales compensation plans and ensure Sales understanding of the compensation program and will provide advice/feedback on designs of new programs and changes to existing programs when new products, services, partners relationships and pricing bundles are introduced. You will report to the Director, Pricing Operations.
Your Moneris Career - What you'll do- Identify areas of process improvements- Assist HR Compensation team to Design and implement new effective Commission structures for both Enterprise (National) level and Small Business (IB) sales reps that are tied to financial performance- Develop and perform analysis on Key Risk Indicators (KRI) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) by developing important metrics in collaboration with Risk, Data Platforms and Corporate Data Analytics teams.- In collaboration with Corporate Data Analytics and Data Platform teams, design key metrics, statistical, and financial analysis that are repeatable and scalable, to evaluate rep performance and provide the right level of simple reporting to the Sales team- Identify operational and control gaps across Moneris and resolve them by creating process improvements, automations, and operational excellence.- Ensure accuracy of calculations and disclosure- Implement improvements in processes to help efficiency and effectiveness by standardizing processes, develop self-serve opportunities and simplifying documentation for approvals of alterations to the commission program- Develop collaborative relationships with the rest of Finance, Sales, HR and Product to ensure successful implementation of the new Commission programs being launched- Review final drafts of all new National Accounts Agreements to ensure the template provided by Legal is followed and all terms, conditions and clauses that directly or indirectly reflect agreed upon and approved pricing are fully disclosed before Agreement execution- Be a liaison with Internal Audit-
- Comply with corporate policies established by Moneris Corporation including Moneris Code of Conduct, Technology Policy & Privacy Policy- Perform other responsibilities, as required
Your Moneris Career - What you bring- Bachelor's degree in business/Commerce or a related field- 5 years of experience preferably in a Finance or Accounting role- 1 year of experience managing a team- Relationship management skills with the ability to influence, challenge, and collaborate with teams and adapt influencing style to different situations.- Experience with process automation- Experience with quality assurance, process design and improvement an asset- Advanced skills with MS Excel- Advanced Financial Analysis, Data Mining and Modelling skills- Experience with KPI measurements and P&L model- Exceptional business acumen skills- Experience prioritizing against many competing priorities in an environment of frequent change- Committed to process improvement, finding and implementing efficiencies, and ability to be innovative and challenge the status quo, as appropriate- Exceptional analytical skills- Very strong verbal and written communication as well as presentation skills- Simplify complex transactions and present statistical and financial analysis and recommendation, in a concise and consumable manner, to non-financial audience including sales and senior management team- Motivate and engage team members, promote a culture of continuous improvement, and develop the team- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities requiring collaboration, working with often-ambiguous data, and managing relationships with different team members
