Bourgault Industries is looking for a **R&D Test/Assembler 3**. The **R&D Test/Assembler 3** role is responsible for the assembly of prototypes by reading blueprints and following provided instructions, while actively reporting any issues encountered. As a Test Operator this position requires driving tractors for bounce endurance tests and/or field operations, along with providing valuable feedback on performance. This role may require shift work or overtime as necessary. In addition, responsibilities include operating tractors to move tillage and air carts in and out of the shop for maintenance and repairs, and the setup and conducting of stationary tests. The position also entails maintaining an organized and neat R&D equipment yard and promptly reporting any tractor maintenance concerns. _Note: Applicants with Heavy Duty Operating experience is an asset to this position._

Required Skills/Experience
- Superior assembly capabilities - both for new components as well as field repair
- Strong mechanical aptitude and operation of all assembly related tools and processes
- Operation of Front End equipment such as press, saw, drills, belt grinder
- Operation of inspection related tools
- Ability to provide verbal and written feedback and maintain accurate test data
- Creative mind and ability to think beyond just the assembly of the part/machine but also the intent and how it would fit into the production environment as well as in the field
- Ability to travel to prototype machines for repair and updates
- Class 3A license or higher is an asset - Class 5 with clean record is a must
- Certified for forklift and overhead crane use
- Knowledge of farming and farm equipment is an asset
- Affinity for future supervisory/leadership role is an asset
- Overhead Hoist Certification
- Indoor & Outdoor Forklift Certification
- Familiar with Bourgault products
- Observation & Reporting test results
- Equipment Operator experience

$27.53-$42.25 - Starting wage is dependent on experience**.**
