Our **MPE** office in **Winnipeg Manitoba** is currently recruiting for the position of **Automation Professional to join the team**

The position is primarily focused on** PLC and SCADA programming**, commissioning, and networking configurations, however, a diverse background in automation and control system planning, design, control narrative generation, troubleshooting, and maintenance is also required

Your Contribution:
**Your main responsibilities**
- Assist in planning and designing automation and control systems, including electrical and instrumentation components
- Develop, configure, and troubleshoot automation software and hardware systems to meet project requirements.
- Participate in system testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and drawings to support project deliverables.
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team to deliver integrated solutions for clients.
- Provide on-site assistance for maintenance and commissioning tasks, including occasional travel to client locations.
- Support industrial networking and cybersecurity measures to ensure secure and reliable system operations.

Your Profile:
**What makes you unique**
- Diploma or Degree in electrical or automation related program from an accredited post-secondary institution.
- Licensed or eligible for licensing or certification with EGM/CTTAM.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Background in electrical & instrumentation systems.
- Experience with municipal & industrial process systems.
- Experience with industrial networking & cybersecurity.
- Experience working as a member of a multi-disciplinary engineering team.
