AUTOMATION PROFESSIONAL (Position ID: 9-1528) – MPE a division of Englobe – Location: Winnipeg Description The position is primarily focused on PLC and SCADA programming, commissioning, and networking configurations. A diverse background in automation and control system planning, design, control narrative generation, troubleshooting, and maintenance is also required. Mandatory Qualifications Programming experience with a variety of automation software and hardware. Willingness to travel to support maintenance and commissioning tasks. Availability for PLC, SCADA Systems, and related communications emergency support. Diploma or Degree in electrical or automation related program from an accredited post‑secondary institution. Preferred Qualifications Licensed or eligible for licensing or certification with EGM/CTTAM. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Background in electrical & instrumentation systems. Experience with municipal & industrial process systems. Experience with industrial networking & cybersecurity. Experience working as a member of a multi‑disciplinary engineering team. Minimum two years combined experience in related positions to the above preference and mandatory qualifications.
