**Day Program Community Support Worker**

**Overview**

We are looking for a Community Support worker to join our Day Program Staff. We are hoping to hire in early June.

This is an 10 hour a week Permanent Part Time Position. Hours are Monday and Tuesday 9:00-3:00. Our worker supports 2 clients on these days..

The Program takes place entirely in the community and involves using community resources such as the recreation centers, libraries, music programs, seasonal community activities and museums etc. Workers also support clients in their job or volunteer positions if needed.

**COMMUNITY SUPPORT WORKER/JOB COACH**
Permanent part time position (10hours per week)
Work days are Monday and Tuesday 9:00-3:00)

Compensation is $26.00 per hour plus vehicle mileage ($.52per kilometre)

1. Vehicle in good running condition

2. Class 5 driver license

3. Driver's abstract

4. Standard First aid

5. criminal record check

6. 2 million dollars vehicle liability insurance

This position involves working with two young adults with Down Syndrome aiding their community inclusion and assisting them in volunteer and job positions. This position would be perfect for a person wanting to work part time or to supplement hours they already have. Extra hours may be available substituting for our other employees as need arises as well as doing Respite.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 per hour
