Our active community inclusion program is looking for a dedicated, positive, and energetic individual to add to our growing team. Our facility-based program offers various recreational, vocational, and educational programming to adults with developmental disabilities and autism, including such activities as: gardening, swimming, hiking, reading & writing, supported volunteering, cooking, work crew, and more.

**Responsibilities**
- Assisting individuals with daily life skills, social life skills, and behaviour management.
- Planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating recreational, social, and educational activities served by our organization.
- Recognizing potential crisis situations, analyzing such situations accurately, develop strategies to deal with such situations, and informs the Key-worker, Supervisor, and Manager when such incidents arise.
- Assist clients with personal hygiene and grooming (i.e toileting)
- Cleaning rooms within organizations buildings
- Daily note taking

**Requirements**:

- First Aid & CPR
- Fully vaccinated against COVID 19
- Preference given to applicants with a valid Class 5 drivers license

This position is ideal for any individual who may like to gain experience working with adults with different needs, or an individual looking to further develop their skills in this area, as we provide significant education and training on topics such as: sign language, behaviour modification, positive behaviour support, and more. Our mandate is to provide life long learning and skill development, as well as promote community involvement and inclusion, to individuals with differing needs, we would be thrilled to have you work with us in achieving this goal.

- 9:00am - 3:30pm Monday - Friday 32.5hrs/week_
