**Position Summary**:
The Videographer and Content Creator will lead the capture of engaging film and photography to use across all our channels. Executions range from short form social media and digital advertising to longer form videos for brand storytelling and tech/product walkthroughs.

**Position Responsibilities**:
The Videographer and Content Creator will assist the marketing team in all photo and video needs across the organization. Specific responsibilities include:

- Understanding of the nuances of contemporary filmmaking and photography and staying at the forefront of industry trends and techniques
- Working collaboratively with the creative team to execute visual goals for all content, campaign and brand initiatives
- Owning the end-to-end production process from pre-production planning (with our in-house producer), content capture in the field, editing/grading and asset delivery
- Researching and sourcing images, music, and third-party video content to support video projects
- Committing to continuous technical and professional development in your field
- Working towards the marketing team’s agreed KPIs.
- Adapting to new creative environments (including new team members) with mínimal loss of productivity
- Management of photo/video equipment as well as backup and archiving systems
- Organizing and maintaining the marketing team's photo library to allow seamless collaboration across all departments

**Position Qualifications**:
**Education**:

- Bachelor of Arts or relevant experience and/or an exceptional body of work

**Portfolio**:

**Experience**:
A minimum of three (3) years' experience as a photographer and videographer in a professional and collaborative environment is required.
- Proven experience with Adobe Creative Suite; including Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere.
- Expert in using Capture One and shooting tethered.
- Experience setting up and executing both outdoors (on location) and studio shoots.
- Extensive experience in sports photography/ video with a passion for mountain biking and the outdoors.
- Strong knowledge of social media content best practices and engagement.
- Expert knowledge of Media Asset Management
- Advanced level of photo retouching
- Advanced level of photo and video grading
- Proven storytelling experience with exceptional video editing skills
- Experience with preproduction (scripting/storyboarding/shot lists)

**Work Environment and Physical Requirements**:

- This position is full-time based in our Burnaby office but will often require travel to filming locations
- Able to drive with a full driver’s license
- Able to travel internationally
