**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Conduct swimming lessons for individuals and groups of varying skill levels, from beginners to advanced swimmers.
- Educate students on proper swimming techniques and water safety rules.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their skills.
- Communicate effectively with students and their parents regarding progress, challenges, and achievements.

**Skills**
- Strong swimming skills with the ability to demonstrate various strokes effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to educate students clearly and effectively.
- Patience and adaptability to work with individuals of all ages and skill levels.
- Knowledge of water safety practices and emergency procedures.
- Ability to motivate and encourage students to achieve their swimming goals.

**Requirements**:

- NLA/CPR-Standard First Aid Certified
- Previous experience instructing swim lessons, either in a group or private setting
- Previous or current certification in WSI or Swim for Life Instructor an asset, but not necessary
- Day-time instructor must be available to work during the week, between 930am-3pm. Evening swim instructor must be available for weekday evenings, between 4pm-8pm and potentially some daytime Sunday shifts.
- Reliable and consistent attendance is essential to the success of this position
- Reliable transportation is essential.

We are looking for a day-time instructor to train with us this fall and start in January 2026. Our evening instructor would have an anticipated start date of November 2025.

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
