**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Supervise daily dispatch operations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of freight.
- Coordinate with transportation management systems to optimize routing and scheduling.
- Manage communication with drivers, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
- Oversee data entry processes related to shipping and receiving activities.
- Conduct analysis of dispatch operations to identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records in systems such as AS400 and SyteLine.
- Train and mentor dispatch staff on best practices in logistics management.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

**Skills**
- Proficiency in transportation management systems and supply chain logistics.
- Experience with third-party logistics (3PL) operations is a plus.
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent analysis skills to evaluate operational efficiency.
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and regulations.
- Polished phone etiquette for effective communication with clients and team members.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey information clearly.
- Typing proficiency for efficient documentation and reporting.
