**House of Cool in Toronto, is seeking Production Coordinator for Story & Edit**

House of Cool is the leading studio in animation for Pre‐Production throughout the world. Together with our clients, the House of Cool team has worked to design stories and craft some of the worlds coolest Animated Series and Feature Films such as: Spies in Disguise (Disney/Fox) and Maya and the Three (Netflix). House of Cool has also worked on Next Gen (Netflix), Ferdinand (Fox), The Book of Life (Fox), Rio 1 & 2 (Fox) and many more productions

About the **Production Coordinator, Story & Edit**

**Responsibilities**:

- Schedule & setup meetings, launches and reviews, maintaining the show calendar
- Attend and prepare detailed notes from meetings with Directors, Supervisors and Crew
- Diagnose each pass of script for any changes in action description and/or dialogue per episode
- Organize traffics between Storyboard Revisionists and Editorials for panel changes and/or editorial notes
- Assist the production team with communicating quotas and deadlines
- Work directly with the artists to ensure they are successful in completing tasks and assignments on schedule
- Maintain schedule on a day-today basis to track all assignments, escalating any issues to their Production Manager or Line Producer that could affect deadlines
- Organize and manage artist and client deliveries
- Maintain a professional demeanour with artists, production staff and clients
- Communicate directly with partners and clients, as required
- Take on new challenges to have a more detailed understanding of the animation and preproduction pipeline

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 3 years of experience within the VFX or animation production industry
- Previous experience as a script coordinator is an asset
- Highly organized with excellent scheduling and task management skills
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and work on multiple tasks at a time while remaining efficient and mindful of strict deadlines in a high-pressure environment
- Ability to liaise and collaborate with clients, artists and producers
- Understanding of animation processes including story, editorial, design, asset tracking and animation is considered an asset
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office and G Suite products (Excel, Gmail, Google Drive, Google Sheets, etc.)
- Familiarity with video-communication platforms such as Zoom and Google Meet
- Proactive and personable team player
- Reliable internet connection. Internet Bandwidth requirement - minimum range of 40 Mbps down and 10 Mbps up
