**Technical Writer**

Marine Thinking is seeking an individual looking to join an agile, dynamic, and motivated team in the ocean artificial intelligence (AI) and robotic technology industry. Our technology aims to help protect the environment by supporting the sustainable development of the marine industry. The Technical Writer work closely with cross-functional teams to craft technical documentation, such as operating procedures, technical specifications, product documentation, and training materials aimed to assist our customers.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Create, edit, and maintain high-quality technical documentations including user and service manuals, job aids, and other training material.
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) including engineering and product management team to understand complex technical concepts and translate them into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation.
- Edit documents and technical literature prepared by other staff members, for content, coverage, clarity, and voice consistency recommending revisions and editorial standards as appropriate.
- Maintain Documentation Libraries: Organize and manage document repository, ensuring quick and easy access for internal uses.
- Ensure online sources for external users are up to date.
- Use templates for consistency and adherence to brand standards in all written materials.
- Maintain consistency and version revisions for document control.
- Create clear and captivating product training videos.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing and Communication, Business, or related field with a minimum of two (2) years of technical writing experience.
- Must be able to communicate clearly in English and have solid communication skills, including grammar and composition to create clear, concise, and engaging content.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Have excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as with others.
- Proven time management skills and strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in using various types of computer software (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Results oriented and hard-working self-starter with a positive attitude.
- Graphic design skills would be considered an asset.
- Ensure full compliance with the Company’s Health & Safety Code of Integrity, and Professional Conduct Policies.
- Report to Operations Manager (OM)
