**Role Overview**:
We are seeking a Strategic Finance Manager to join the team. You will be part of the Central PlayStation Studios Finance group, reporting to the Director of FP&A. This role will collaborate across the finance organization, IT organization, business partners and executive team members throughout PlayStation Studios Organization to deliver outstanding financial planning systems and reporting.

This opportunity will have you working collaboratively with regional finance teams, PlayStation Studios leadership and budget holders to drive improvement initiatives, bring a value perspective to the equation, and deliver strategic cost-savings opportunities.

This is a remote role reporting to PlayStation Studios' Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, based out of San Mateo, CA US.

**What you'll be doing**:
**Strategic Initiatives**:

- Build models to evaluate new growth opportunities
- Develop and utilize data
- driven analytics to generate value
- added insights and actionable recommendations to identify areas of business risk and opportunity as well as drive growth and organizational goals
- Lead the development and execution of group-wide initiatives
- Lead ad hoc strategic projects
- Perform sensitivity, scenario and what-if analyses, as well as analyzing the financial impact of changes in business

**Reporting, Process & tools**:

- Modernize strategic business systems and tools including finance process automation and digital enhancements/improvements.
- Position the Finance team to be forward-thinking by constantly evaluating the business environment, how we adapt to internal/external changes, and how we can bridge ambiguous business problems to actionable reporting and metrics
- Drive operational excellence by identifying and implementing standardized practices and process improvements for financial planning and analysis
- Identify inefficiencies or risks in the business and proactively design processes and policies to mitigate

**What we're looking for**:

- Minimum of 7-8 years professional experience in FP&A or Strategic Finance
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, management, finance, or equivalent required - CPA is preferred
- MBA or an advanced degree in business, management, or finance preferred

**Skills & Experience: Essential**:

- Senior experience working in a financial environment with involvement in management reporting and budgeting/forecasting.

Previous experience in report building with Tableau, Cognos Analytics or a similar Business Intelligence tool (e.g. SAP BW, Business Objects).
- Strong MS Office skills, particularly MS Excel (pivots, sumifs, vlookups etc).
- Be versatile, working with large volumes of data.
- Ability to quickly assimilate new processes and technologies.
- Personal time management skills and the ability to work under pressure to ensure that deadlines are met.
- Strong communication skills (both speaking and listening)
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Interest in Games and passion for the Game industry
- Experienced in SAP, Oracle or other accounting packages.
- Collaborative worker in cross functional/regional teams.

**Desirable**:

- Prior work experience in Game Industry or Media & Entertainment.
