The Courier Service Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of courier services. This role involves managing teams, coordinating logistics, maintaining quality service, and implementing strategies to optimize operational performance while ensuring compliance with company policies and customer satisfaction.
**Key Responsibilities:Operations Management**:
- Supervise daily courier operations, ensuring all deliveries are completed on time and within service standards.
- Coordinate route planning, vehicle allocation, and driver scheduling for maximum efficiency.
- Monitor and track deliveries to ensure operational accuracy and timeliness.
- Address operational challenges proactively and provide solutions to maintain service levels.
**Team Leadership**:
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of drivers, dispatchers, and support staff.
- Provide training, coaching, and support to team members to enhance performance and professional growth.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and set clear expectations for team members.
**Customer Service**:
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Work closely with the customer service team to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Maintain strong client relationships and act as a liaison between the team and clients.
**Compliance and Safety**:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Conduct routine safety checks on vehicles and equipment to ensure safe operations.
- Promote a culture of safety and accountability among team members.
**Reporting and Analysis**:
- Analyze operational performance data to identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare and submit reports on key performance indicators, delivery accuracy, and team productivity.
- Implement process improvements to optimize costs and service delivery.
**Other Duties**:
- Assist in budgeting and cost control for the department.
- Collaborate with other departments to improve overall business operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.
**Qualifications: Education and Experience**:
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, business administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in courier, logistics, or transportation operations.
- Proven experience in team leadership and operations supervision.
**Skills and Competencies**:
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in logistics management software and tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
**Other Requirements**:
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, if needed.
- Familiarity with local routes and regulations.

Pay: $17.21-$24.16 per hour
