ABOUT THE ROLE
Are you passionate about understanding user behavior through analyzing survey and usage data, to help GoTo teams translate that knowledge into working product? We're looking for a quantitative user researcher with deep experience to help shape and execute a strong vision for GoTo, working across all products, in close cross-functional collaboration, and with access to executive stakeholders.
As a Principal Quantitative UX Researcher, you will provide meaningful, actionable user insights to drive customer-centric product decisions. You’ll use rock-solid quanitiative methods to understand data from any and all GoTo products. You’ll report to the Director of UX Research, along with mixed-methods researchers, to understand what current and future users want and need, and how to create products that our users will love. You'll work closely with a team of highly talented product managers, designers, and engineers who appreciate user experience and want to build the best products in the market.

Your Day to Day Present key insights to others in a clear, brief, and persuasive way. Translate research insights into key UX deliverables such as personas, segmentations, and behavioral models-
- Partner with data analysts and product marketers on defining key metrics and measurements along the customer journey-
- Mentor on quantitative methodologies. Be able to scrutinize and elevate existing UX research practicesWhat We're Looking For- 7+ years applied quantitative research experience-
- M. A./M.S./Ph. D. (in progress or completed) in Communications, Cognitive Psychology, HCI/Computer Science, Sociology, Economics, Statistics, or other field emphasizing quantitative analysis of human behavior-
- Experience in advanced statistical modeling techniques-
- Excellent people-interaction skills-
- Very strong oral and written communication skills-
- Familiarity with SQL and standard data analysis tools- You’ll be working towards a shared goal with an open-minded and cohesive team greater than the sum of its parts.
