**Shift is fulltime 8:00am - 4:30pm Monday to Friday (37.5 hours/week)**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Coordinates day to day incoming/outgoing functions, focusing on time constraints, and servicing our customers
- Collaborates with other Department Managers, meeting or exceeding company expectations and requirements
- Continuously improves operations (i.e. waste reduction & product quality) to maximize operational efficiency and minimize waste
- Meticulously monitors and ensures employee and team-based performance metrics against results achieved
- Leads and supervises warehouse staff through training, mentoring, and motivating employees
- Develops and focuses team activities on key performance measures designed to deliver business results
- Fosters team development, cross-training initiatives, quality performance, cost savings, and service excellence
- Communicates cross functionally to solve operational issues
- Supports and maintains quality standards as per ISO 9001:2015
- Ensures that the facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and orderly fashion
- Assists with the selection process as well as the employee performance review process as needed
- Upholds and promotes all company policies and health and safety standards
- Understands Ontario Employment Standards and Acts that pertain to employees
- Analyzes the entire distribution process, while making knowledge-based assessments to improve ongoing operations
- Flexible, adaptable, logical, and consultative management style
- Demonstrated ability to effectively present strategies and plans to senior management
- Responsible for inventory integrity and performing in-depth cycle counts
- Other duties as assigned

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- 2-3 years Experience in a distribution environment
- 2-3 years supervisory experience in a Warehouse environment
- Ability to lead teams of 20 to 30 employees (day, afternoon, weekend)
- Strong problem solving, decision making, time management, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Versatile in warehouse functions (picking, packing, putaway, receiving, driving)
- Excellent interpersonal skills both with employees in head office as well as in our locations across Canada
- Knowledge of WHMIS, WSIB, and other Health and Safety related programs
- Valid drivers license with clean driving record
- Experience with driving straight trucks as well as forklift and skyjack experience would be beneficial
- Previous experience with ISO would be beneficial
- Intermediate proficiency with MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

**Physical/Mental Demands**:

- Regularly lift/move objects that range from 10-55 lbs
- Frequent walking, crouching, climbing, carrying, standing, pushing and pulling of skids via a pump truck and products via a dolly
- Capable of learning new skills and transferring that knowledge immediately and accurately
