**Purpose**:
The Administrative Support provides general support to the Plant.
**Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Coordinate file storage internally and externally.
- Answer phone.
- Photocopying, faxing, and scanning as required
- Preparation of correspondence as required
- Order and maintain office supplies
- Assist with arranging special events, which may include coordination of luncheons and catering (internal and external)
- Assist with travel arrangements as required
- Assist in coordinating departmental meetings, preparation of agendas and distribution of meeting correspondence, and meeting minutes as
- required.
- Distribute mail
- Proofread and test all site changes, and validate HTML code
- Retain backup copy of site on disk and on hard drive.
- Manage petty cash fund
- Create purchasing requisitions and forward them to purchasing for processing
- Lead social committee and manage plant’s social activities
- Participates in the JHSC
- Manage the employee training databases, including Q-Pulse and training matrices, working with plant management to ensure that training remains to-date and properly documented
- Work with Human Resources to on-board new employees, both RST and contract, including benefit enrollment for RST employees
- Manage all employee key cards for security system
**Hiring Requirements**:
- Grade 12 or equivalent;
- A minimum of 3 years working in a administrative role;
- Minimum 2 years experience in an ISO Certified Manufacturing Environment;
- Proficient with computers and Microsoft programs such as Excel, word and powerpoint.
