Warehouse Manager

The Warehouse Manager will manage and supervise all operation of warehousing and distribution for our Vaughan, ON facility.
**Responsibilities**:
- Define, implement and maintain systems and procedures to ensure the effective operation of warehousing and distribution functions.
- Proactively identifies and leads process improvement initiatives utilizing LEAN tools to optimize efficiency
- Report on the different supply chain KPIs
- Promote and facilitate efficient warehouse practices, policies and procedures
- Manage cycle count procedures to maintain inventory accuracy and manage year-end inventory processes via WMS
- Effectively manage and mentor employees including hiring, scheduling, assigning tasks, resolving issues, managing performance, and providing coaching and team development support
- Develop and implement schedules and procedures for safety inspections and preventive maintenance programs
- Ensures quality and productivity goals are met on a daily basis
- Reviews records, reports, documents to comply with Company operational expectations
- Follows loss prevention, risk controls and quality assurance procedures to ensure a safe and clean work environment
- Communicate with and responds to inquiries from the various stakeholders
**Requirements**:
- Post-secondary education in Warehouse Operations/Management discipline or 5-7 years of relevant managerial experience
- Extensive understanding of ERP and WMS dynamics, requirements and operations
- Demonstrated people management and time management skills and leadership qualities
- Ability to document and manage warehousing data and KPIs
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Valid Forklift License with relevant experience is a plus
