POSTION TITLE:
Marketing Specialist (Hybrid, 3 days per week in office)

REPORTS TO:
Director, Marketing, Canada

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

- Assist in product launches, from concept to reality, with support from Marketing and Customer Service.
- Work in tandem with Marketing to plan, develop and execute marketing campaigns and activities for customers.
- Assist in the creation, development and distribution of internal and external communications.
- Assist in the development of customer and launch Events

AREAS OF RESPONSIBLITIY:

- Assist in the execution of flawless product releases, including the design, development, preparation and distribution of all presentation and marketing material.
- Assist in the development, coordination and execution of marketing plans and public relation opportunities including digital marketing initiatives and campaigns.
- Liaise with vendors for promotional material and outsourced project coordination.
- Develop and implement promotions and customer mailings, communications and presentations.
- Prepare analysis of sales promotions results and sales trends. Work with Sales to manage and support marketing needs of strategically selected customers by developing advertising/promotional campaigns.
- Work with Global Marketing to develop and support launch plans and initiatives locally.
- Maintaining, updating the customer database and the marketing collateral in both English & French.
- Maintaining the weekly customer newsletter and the Canada website(s).
- Track inventory of marketing, promotion and sales material.
- Work in tandem with Sales and Accounting for processing co-op and other customer requests, invoicing & coding.
- Create and design advertising for trade journals and sponsorship opportunities.
- Prepare and submit monthly marketing activity reports.
- Support Product Management and Audiology in all aspects of education seminar planning.
- Assist in the planning, organizing and management of trade show participation and manage corporate functions.
- Other duties as assigned by Management including administrative duties and back-up where required.

EDUCATION:
University Degree and/or College Diploma/Certificate in Marketing

EXPERIENCE:

- Minimum of three years work experience required in Marketing.
- Experience in digital marketing and communications along with experience in the healthcare field a definite asset.
- Bilingual (English/French) an asset.

- Advanced computer skills; including but not limited to Microsoft Applications, Adobe Creative Suite an asset.
