ABOUT THE ROLE
WHAT YOU’LL DO / KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
**You will contribute to “raising the bar for music rights,” by**:
- Achieving annual targets for revenue and new accounts
- Account administration, including report entry, follow ups, payments, and portfolio organization
- Inbound/Outbound communication with potential licensees which includes following up on reports and payments deadlines and answering any questions that arise
- Successfully working in a multi-departmental environment (Legal, Finance, Royalty Operations)
- Responsible for completing assigned projects
- Researching, industry analysis and leading the generation of digital services
- Other duties, as required
WHAT YOU WILL BRING / QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- 2-3 years of experience in a customer service environment
- 2-3 years of proven success in a sales environment strongly preferred
- Proven experience using influence and negotiation effectively to drive business outcomes.
- Music industry experience or demonstrates a strong passion or involvement in the music industry
- Post-secondary diploma/degree or relevant working experience

- Superior interpersonal skills with proven ability to resolve conflict
- Strong time-management and organizational skills
- Ability to lead with curiosity, take initiative, and work independently
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure and adapt to change
**Nice To Have**:
- Copyright / Music Industry knowledge
- SOCAN Database and Systems knowledge an asset
