**Position Description**

Rosedale Global High School is looking for a summer Educational Assistant who is able to work from our Rosedale Head Office (Markham, Ontario) a minimum of 3 days a week, with 2-days a week remote.

**Responsibilities**

Under the direction of the Director of Academic Operations and Student Success Services, and the University and Careers Counsellor, you will fulfill the following duties:
**Office Administration Functions**:

- Aid in managing hard-copy student records
- Maintain the filling system
- General administration duties

**Guidance Functions**:

- Conduct research on international admission trends, scholarship information, and career guidance practices
- Create educational modules on career and post-secondary education guidance
- Design engaging learning material using a variety of media
- Provide additional support in other Guidance functions as needed

**Qualifications and Requirements**
- Experience in administrative support
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office apps
- Capacity to handle a variety of tasks
- Strong initiative and excellent time management skills
- Demonstrated ability to exercise discretion and judgment when handling confidential information
- Interest in student and career development, university counselling as well as international education

**Salary**: $16.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Markham, ON L3R 6G2
