**DIETER'S AFTERNOON SHIFT IS 4:30 PM TO 3:00 AM, MONDAY TO THURSDAY. AFTERNOON SHIFT EMPLOYEES RECEIVE A $1/HOUR SHIFT PREMIUM ON TOP OF THEIR REGULAR WAGES.**

**The Opportunity**

We are looking for an afternoon shift Punch Press Operator with forklift experience who can operate punch presses and most importantly handle materials with extreme care.

**The Ins and Outs of the Job**

Reporting to the Production Lead Hand, you will:

- Operate one or more light or heavy metal working machines such as shears, power presses, saws, plate rolls, drills, brakes, slitters, computer numerically controlled (CNC) equipment, and other hand tools to cut, bend, roll, ream, punch and drill, weld or otherwise shape and form metal stock into parts or products.
- Read simple drawings and/or blueprints and follow verbal instructions
- Check products for correct shapes, dimensions and other specifications
- Report all manufactured quantities for both good parts and scrap parts for each work order in the ERP System
- Clean your work areas and equipment
- Complete other tasks as assigned by your Supervisor.

**Who You Are**

Your education and experience likely mean you:

- Have completed high school or have an equivalent certificate or experience
- 2 or more years experience in a punch press operating position in a manufacturing environment
- Experience handling stainless steel is preferred
- Handle everything you do with care and pride understanding that avoiding damage to the products you move is critical
- Have great people and communication skills - we’re a diverse workforce
