**ISO/OHS Summer Co-Op Student**
You will be part of a dynamic team working to gain practical and professional experience. As an ISO/OHS Summer Student, you will support the ISO/OHS Coordinator with a variety of projects. At Nordic Minesteel Technologies, we believe in diverse talent and that students add value and help contribute innovative ideas to support our success. This position is an onsite role at our 4530 Highway 11 North shop.
**Responsibilities**
**OHS**
- Review and update Nordic Minesteel Technologies OHS manuals and hand books
- Review and update SDS manuals
- Review and workplace OHS Standards and Procedures
- Participate and document OHS audits
- Assist in new employee recruiting and orientation
- Contribute to employee OHS training and communication
- Monitor applicable new/updated OHS and employment laws and legislation - OHSA, CSA, ISO, MOL, WSIA, and MOE
- Monitor and maintain OHS information boards, prepare and post OHS reports
- Monitor and maintain First Aid Stations and supplies
**ISO**
- Review and update NMT ISO 9001 QMS
- Review and update processes, procedures and work instructions
- Participate and document internal quality audits
- Review and update workplace QMS Standards and Procedures
- At all times, be part of the team
**Requirements**:
- Currently enrolled in a registered college diploma, post-secondary program in Health and Safety, Human Resources, Quality Management or a similar field
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally in all written and verbal communications
- A team player who is also able to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Able and willing to learn, adapt to new technologies, flexible when situations change, able to work in a manufacturing environment
- Strong computer skills
**Job Types**: Full-time, Internship / Co-op
Contract length: 4 months
**Salary**: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
