**About The Opportunity.**

Our Therapy Aide/ Assistant is an excellent opportunity for an individual who enjoys working and engaging in a supportive environment.

**Physical Therapist Aide/ Assistant Responsibilities: As an integral team member of Silverberry Physiotherapy, you will**:
Inform physical therapist of patient arrival status

Assist the physical therapist in performing different elements of treatment and bringing patients into the clinic no later than 5 minutes after the patient’s scheduled appointment.

Perform various treatments as prescribed and directed by a supervising Physical therapist.

Set up patients for treatment and take down after treatment (training provided for machine usage)

Correspond with clinicians, aides, and other staff members.

Clean & sanitize treatment tables and set up after each patient

Manage laundry (wash, dry, fold)

Ensure gym equipment is wiped down before each patient

Refill gel bottles

Assist with the cleaning schedule.

General housekeeping (dusting table frames, washing curtains, mopping/sweeping floors, etc.)

Other tasks as required

**Requirements**:
Previous experience and PTA education is an asset.

Professional and effective English communication skills

Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment

Independent worker who is also a strong and supportive team player

Demonstrates integrity and professionalism

No criminal record

Professional appearance

Adhere to all company policies and procedures
